This installation sets up a dialogue between the objet and light. It includes some shreds of wrapping paper, coverings having preserved their contents while <traveling the>. Spoiled because they were carelessly unpacked, the shreds turn into simulacrums of a passed-by living, <fossil> witnesses of a sacrificing rite.
The high-key projection that stresses their shapes belongs to the documentation of “Untitled (Je Suis)”, a work realized on the eastern Sicilian coast. The video-projection’s multitude of shining flittings about unveils the existence of the radiant source without really showing it, whereas the shredded sheets undergo a functional metamorphose, as they are trespassed by light.

Questa installazione instaura un dialogo fra oggetto e luce. Comprende brandelli di carte da pacchi, involucri che hanno custodito il contenuto durante il <viaggio>. Distrutti perché spacchettati senza cura, essi divengono simulacri di un vissuto, testimonianze <fossili> di un’azione sacrificale.
La proiezione luminosa che ne evidenzia le forme, fa parte della documentazione del progetto “Untitled (Je Suis)”, sviluppato sulla costa orientale siciliana. La moltitudine di sfarfallii luminosi della video-proiezione attesta la presenza della fonte emittente senza tuttavia mostrarla, mentre i fogli squarciati subiscono una metamorfosi funzionale, dichiarando la loro attraversabilità dalla luce.
