In the installation the tensions and ambiguities of the dialectics between past and future, stasis and movement, deconstruction and construction find a final epitome in the metaphor of the strips of birds dissuaders assembled to form a curtain both repelling and permeable, a no thoroughfare to be run over by the researcher armed with awareness that destruction may be an unavoidable premise for creation. The curtain, then, as a plastic hypertext providing the key concept(s) allowing to find, identify, and deciphering, the individual texts, i.e. each work, of the artist. To cross the curtain amounts therefore to an act of learning, a reading qualification, a initiatory step, both in intellectual and empathic terms.
